GRE is offered at official centres across all major cities and town in India almost every day. Call your local centre for details and to book your test. While in theory you could sign up for the GRE with only two days' notice, don't depend upon this luxury. Call at least one month prior to your desired test date.
Effective April 1, 2014, the test administration fee for the GRE revised General Test will be US$19. And the additional score report fee for the GRE revised General Test will be US$27. Fees can be changed without notice.
ETS policy states that at the end of the test, you will be given the option to cancel your scores. You cannot cancel your score for one section of the test and have the scores for the remaining sections reported. Cancelled scores are not added to your permanent record. Also, No refunds can be made.
Just make sure that you carry a valid ID card, the Examination papers and a pencil. Everything else is provided at the centre. The calculator is onscreen. Wear comfortable clothes and reach the venue 20 to 30 mins earlier.
